1. When can I submit my yearbook order?
-You can submit your yearbook any time before the day of distrubution

2. How do I get an order form?
You can get an order form from any one in the staff or you can ask Mr. W or in the office

3. Where do I take my order?
You can take it to Mr. W or the office so they can give it to Mr. W

4. How much does the book cost?
The Yearbook is $55.00

5. Isn't that expensive for a yearbook?
No, not only did we put a lot of hard work in it but its also in COLOR and we need PROFIT

6. How do I get my book personalized, like my name, on the front cover?
You could have gotten your yearbook personalized at the beginning of the year with the order forms but not any more is too late since the books are here.

7. How many pages is the book?

There are 128 pages in the yearbook

8. How much of it is in color?

ALL OF IT! Hence the price

9. What's a QR Code?
A QR code is like a bar code that are used to store information on books or magazines

10. Why do I care about a QR code?
You care because on QR code we are going to have things that arent really on the yearbook and plus those are going to last a very long time.

11. How many QR codes will there be?
There are going to be 6 QR codes

12. What are the different categories of stuff for the QR codes?
There are going to be different events like end of the year events and there is also going to be a video of highlights of this whole year (WAIS at a glance)

13. How long will the QR codes last?
The QR codes are going to be like 5 minutes


14. When will I get my yearbook?
We havent set a specific date but really soon. but by this month of May


15. How can I find out if I already bought one?
You can come talk to Mr. W to see if you are on the list!

What makes a good photo

1. -To have a good photo you need to create the mood with the following things:

                                                               -Perspective

                                                               -Color

                                                               -Focus 

                                                               -Weather 

2. -The photo must have some characteristics: 

                                   -Shape- the shape always tends to be noticed first, it helps create the mood. You          
                                                can use shape by using backlight or use a background color or use texture

                                   -Line- line leads the line and is used to create almost everything such as shape
                                              pattern, depth and perspective. It leads the eyes by using focal points,  
                                              diagonals and s-curves. 

                                   -Pattern- combination of shape line or color. Pattern can help to give character to

                                                 the photo. To catch a viewers attention you could use random patterns 

                                                 and pattern in common places. 

                                   -Texture- adds realism a sense of touch this is really important to close ups in             

                                                  many photos' they use front lighting to decrease the texture in ones skin. 

                                   -Size and Space- 2D pictures can distort  depth  relative size and distances

3. Giving Perspective

                -Lines- they cover the distance

                -Diminishing Size- objects further away are smaller 

                -Aerial- atmosphere creates haze which lightens objects further away

4. Depth and Perspective

                 -Overlapping Forms- they create depth and distance 

                 -Selective focusing- focusing on the foreground and blurring the background

5. Improving Composition

                  - Rule of thirds- take pictures with different angles. 

                  -Simplicity- One strong center of interest background should be simple avoid mergers. 

                  -Angle and perspective- Low angles clear sky backdrop accentuate movement or action High 

                                                         angle eliminate cloudy sky 45 degree angle will cut glare avoid               

                                                         centered horizons 

                  -Framing- Adds depth should fit the theme helps subject fill the frame 

6. Balance

- Color and weight in the picture

- Formal and informal

- Symmetrical or asymmetrical 

7. Fill the frame

- Focus on subject and detail

- Fill the frame with objects that fit

- Long range shots provide depth and perspective 

*Close ups decrease perspective while wide angles can exaggerate. 

*Soft light can give a sense of shape

*Avoid cutting out parts, avoid cutting the path of a moving object
